Biography

Scott graduated from The University of the South in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts. Scott graduated from The University of Tennessee College of Law in May 2000 and was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in October 2000. He joined the Bernstein, Stair & McAdams team in 2000 as an associate attorney and became a partner in 2007.

As a member of the Knoxville Bar Association and Tennessee Bar Association, Scott practices in the fields of divorce & family law, mediation, and civil litigation. He is listed as a Rule 31 Mediator by the Tennessee Supreme Court.

Within the community, Scott currently serves as a Member on the Boards of Directors for the Great Smoky Mountain Council of Boy Scouts of America, Florence Crittenton Agency, Knoxville Breakfast Rotary Club, and Bearden High School Football Booster Club. In addition, he currently serves as General Counsel and Council Commissioner for the Great Smoky Mountain Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He has also served as a chair of the Knoxville Bar Association Fee Dispute Committee since 2008.

Scott is married to Vaiden and has two children. In his free time, he loves traveling, camping, and cheering on the Vols at UT football and basketball games.
