Elizabeth graduated cum laude from The University of the South in 2010 where she was a member of the Order of the Gownsmen. She later graduated from The University of Tennessee College of Law in 2013 where she served on the Editorial Board of the Tennessee Law Review.
Following a term as a judicial clerk for the Knox County Chancery Court, Elizabeth joined the Bernstein, Stair & McAdams law firm in 2014. Now, she practices exclusively in the areas of family law, including divorce, legal separation, division of assets, alimony, child custody and co-parenting, child support, parentage, dependency and neglect, pre and post-nuptial agreements, post-divorce litigation, and adoption. Her experience includes negotiating and litigating cases in Knox and surrounding East Tennessee counties at the state and appellate levels.
A member of both the Tennessee and Knoxville Bar Associations, Elizabeth currently serves on the Knoxville Bar Association Board of Governors, Functions Committee, and Publications Committee. Elizabeth has served as a presenter for numerous Continuing Legal Education seminars.
Elizabeth is an active member of the Junior League of Knoxville, is involved with her church, and is an alumna of Introduction Knoxville. Outside the office, she enjoys tailgating, cheering on the Vols, and exploring East Tennessee with her husband and Goldendoodle, Judge.
