Jacob, born and raised in Knoxville, attended the University of Tennessee and graduated from Duncan School of Law in 2019. While attending the University of Tennessee, Jacob walked on to the Volunteer football program, earned a scholarship and was the starting right tackle for the Volunteers for the 2014 season. During law school, Jacob clerked for Pryor, Priest and Harber, and earned the highest-class grade in Civil Procedure and Legal Writing. Jacob was also a member of dean’s list during his time in law school.
Jacob joined Bernstein, Stair & McAdams in 2023 after working at a well respected firm in Knoxville for several years prior. Jacob’s experience includes representing creditor’s rights in collection, foreclosure, and landlord/tenant disputes. Jacob also represented individuals in civil litigation, employment law, and other general civil litigation matters.
Jacob will focus his practice on general civil litigation, primarily focusing on business and corporate law, employment law, and insurance defense.
During his free time, Jacob enjoys cheering on the Volunteers, watching his brother play in NFL, and hanging out with friends.
