A lifelong Tennessean, Jon attended the University of Tennessee and graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2018. While attending law school, Jon clerked for the Tennessee Attorney General’s Office in Nashville, the White-Collar Crimes Unit of the Knox County District Attorney’s office, and the General Counsel for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis. He was selected to represent the University in a national moot court competition, was a member of the moot court board, and served as director of a student-led legal clinic for Knoxville’s homeless community.
Jon joined Bernstein, Stair & McAdams in 2021 as an associate attorney. Prior to joining the firm, Jon was an associate with a respected plaintiff’s personal injury firm in Knoxville, and a boutique family-law firm in Johnson City. Jon has successfully represented clients in divorces, parenting plan modifications, parental relocation disputes, child support modifications, and various other family law matters, and will continue to focus his practice on Domestic Relations and Civil Litigation at Bernstein, Stair & McAdams.
When he is not practicing law, Jon enjoys being outdoors by fly-fishing, golfing, and cheering on the Tennessee Vols.
